Adam was one of the first accepted entries in the first KC Clay Guild Teabowl National...2010. His teabowl is featured below.
I love the simple forms and complex patterns he uses to create his sophisticated work. He throws with porcelain for the clean palette it affords him. His work is an amalgam of Far-Eastern and colonial American form and patterning of indigenous peoples. To me, it's just luscious!
Originally from Colorado, he has lived and worked many places. These include San Francisco, South Korea and Hawai'i. He was a long term resident at the Bray in Helena, Montana where he still lives. Check out his wonderful website at: http://www.adamfieldpottery.com/
