T on his is BJ's third time in KC Clay Guild Teabowl National...2017, 2015 and 2013!
Her 2017 piece is the first in her gallery, but I own the 'Out of the Box' awarded teabowl on the far right. Such yummy surfaces...a friend and I might say, 'lickable'.
Chance, intention and individuality are the hallmarks of Watson's work. She is highly influenced by wood-firing, Mingei glazes and prizes form and utility. These aspects keep her close to the Japanese traditions of ceramics.

Brian has two pieces in his first Teabowl National...first two on your right. These colorful pieces are created with red earthenware and subtle textures before embellishment with underglazes and vitreous slips.
He earned an MFA from Kent State and has images in Lark's '500 Prints on Clay' and '500 Teapots'.
The last image in the right/bottom corner is from the gallery of his current work on his website...go visit!
