Rich is a two time participant in KC Clay Guild Teabowl National. This year's teabowl and 2015 are the first and second in his gallery. Amazing altered surfaces!
He creates most of his work in high fire, thrown porcelain and stoneware.
Rich is a part-time studio potter, but is also an instructor at the Wayne Art Center and conducts workshops there as well. He is also a member of the Wallingford (PA) Potter's Guild
ROBERT LAWARRE III~
Rob is a three time veteran of Teabowl National. His accepted teabowls from 2017, 2015 and 2014 are the first four in his gallery. He does amazing things with surface and form. I think his pieces are ALIVE!
I first saw his work when I juried in his two 'faced' cups in 'TWIN CUPS'. He work in various types of clay and firing methods. You will HAVE to check out his website (below) to see ALL of it.
He has work in galleries across the US, Europe and Asia. He has conducted workshops all over as well. This guy is a-mazing! I was honored to organize a 2016, Kansas City, NCECA show that included us and Marko Fields.
Don't forget to check out MORE beautiful work on his website!
