Leah is a first time artist in KC Clay Guild Teabowl National. Her accepted entries are thrown, but she also handbuilds.
She illustrates her work with whimsical patterns, layered colors, sea & woodland creatures...and robots. Leah uses ^6 porcelain, underglaze, glaze and fires in oxidation to create her fabulous work!
This is Lin's second appearance in Teabowl National. This year's accepted piece is the first in her gallery...followed by her 2 accepted pieces from 2016.
She creates with ^10 porcelain and fires in reduction. She is a member of the Missouri Western State University Potters Guild in St. Joseph. She is active in the St. Joe area art scene, participating in 'Twin Cups' at MWSU and the Albrecht-Kemper Museum Members show.
Oh Wow! I saw on her FB page that she sculls. We have something in common besides pots!
