CHANDRA BEADLESTON~

This is Chandra's first time in KC Clay Guild Teabowl National.  Her entries are to the right and her accepted piece is the intriguing yellow/red patterned teabowl.
Chandra lives in the Kansas City area and is the Ceramics teacher at (my daughter's alma mater) Shawnee Mission North!  She also teaches Jewelry, Studio Arts and Drawing.  She must be an awesome teacher because she keeps a YouTube page full of videos for her students to watch.  For all you Visual Arts instructors, here ya go:

CHRIS SINGEWALD~

Chris's work  has been in Teabowl National multiple times.  His entries are to the right with his accepted piece being the first one.  Those surfaces and glazes are just luscious and I can't wait to see the accepted piece as I unbox it for the show.
He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and went on the become an apprentice with Chris Gustin.   He has been a resident and glaze/materials technician at Northern Clay in Minneapolis.  He is the current Clay Studio Manager at 'Artistry' in Bloomington, MN.  Chris is also a studio artist at Northern Clay and the online sales associate at  Clay Coyote Gallery and Pottery.  You can see more of this busy guy's work on his FB page:

    Susan Speck:
I love everything about clay.  I like making, teaching, looking at, owning and using pots.  This blog is a continuation of my Facebook posts that have been going on since the day after the disappointing 2016 election.  I [we] needed to have something good to see and think about.

Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
