Carter is a first time participant in KC Clay Guld Teabowl National. His accepted piece is the fist one in his gallery. He called it a 'sexy little devil'.
Carter attended University of Wisconsin-Stout and was a student of my friend, Kate Maury. He creates with porcelain and stoneware and slips the surface for texture and movement. Then he wood and soda fires each little baby.

She creates utilitarian ware which she soda or salt fires.
Cassie is a public school Art teacher in New Orleans. She has served in the Peace Corps (South Africa) and been an Intern at Lill Street Art Center. She has also been a Resident Artist & Studio Assistant at Guldageraard Ceramic Research Center in Denmark.
